Data Deletion Request
This page explains how to request the deletion of your data associated with the Walletium app, what data is deleted, what is retained, and the timeframes involved. If you have any questions, our support team is here to help.

This request process applies to the Walletium mobile application ("Walletium"), developed and operated by MEDIASEG LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, England, WC2H 9JQ.
How to Request Deletion
To request the deletion of your data, follow these simple steps:

Send a request
Email us at info@walletium.io or message our support bot @WalletiumHelpBot with the subject "Data Deletion Request".

Identify your account
Include the email address and/or the public wallet address linked to your account so we can locate your data.

Confirm ownership
Reply from the same email address or account you used with Walletium so we can verify the request is genuinely yours.

We process it
We will process your request and permanently delete the applicable data within 30 days, then send you a confirmation.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon a verified request, the following data stored on our servers will be permanently deleted:
- Email address — provided during registration or when contacting support.
- Public wallet addresses — wallet addresses linked to your account (public addresses only, never private keys).
- Device information — limited technical data such as device type, operating system, and IP address used for security and anti-fraud purposes.
Data Stored Only on Your Device
Walletium is a non-custodial wallet. Your seed phrase, private keys, and PIN are generated and stored exclusively on your own device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We cannot access, view, or recover them. This data is removed instantly when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data on your device.
Data That Cannot Be Deleted
On-chain transactions are recorded on public blockchain networks. Blockchain data is decentralized, immutable, and not controlled by Walletium, so it cannot be modified or deleted by anyone, including us. This applies to all blockchain-based applications.
Retention Periods
- Server-side data eligible for deletion is permanently erased within 30 days of a verified request.
- Data on your device is removed instantly when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Where applicable law requires us to retain certain records, we keep them only for the minimum period required, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
